PRESENTATION FROM THE ASSOCIATION

The Double Degree Association is the association that represents students of the double degree in French law and English law, a training program in partnership with the University. from Essex , and three French faculties:

Created in 2014, this association is fully managed by SD students. Its purpose is to promote the double degree between the University of Essex and French universities, to maintain the links between the different promotions of these universities, and to ensure cohesion and mutual aid between students.

Each year, the members of the association proceed to the election administrators distributed in the five branches of the office: BUREAU NATIONAL - TOULOUSE - LYON - NANTERRE - ESSEX.

The Association is mainly aimed at students of DD, but it is not closed and its content as well as its events. are accessible and open to everyone!

THE ASSOCIATION'S PROJECTS

Alumni

Maintain the links between all the promotions distributed in geographically different places, as well as with the former DD.

Accompaniement

Support students throughout their degree by giving advice, sharing of experiences students, information on their orientation and outlets.

Offer legal, societal and political content, with the holding of a newsletter throughout the year which covers articles on topical subjects. This newsletter allows Asso students to write articles on subjects that fascinate them, discuss current topics.

Events

Organize events related to law and our training : conferences, coffee-debates that allow students to learn about their orientation in law or their future professional.

Promotion

Promote our training in high schools, at open houses, student fairs, etc.

2 conferences organized : one in Lyon 3 on Brexit - 4 speakers: find our article on the conference and its organization in the Courrier d'Outre Manche tab . One in Nanterre on international law and the environment, report to be found in the Association's news.
2 organized legal cafés: one in Toulouse, on conditions of detention and police custody, and one in Essex, on student sexual violence. Find small reports in the Association's news!
5 jars : meetings between students, reunions, maintaining links between promotions ...
5 interventions with high school students in Toulouse, Paris and Lyon: promotion of SD, and participation in the information meeting on SD organized by the University of Lyon 3.
